So today we went to RMCH to donate some presents for all the children that will be in hospital at Christmas. We started doing this because we obviously still want to buy you a present for Christmas but just can't, and that hurts so much. But we realised that we can still do this but instead of you having them, a poorly child at your hospital will receive them instead. But then it developed into something quite big. Grandma & Grandad wanted to help, and so did Aunty Shell & Aunty Sue. Aunty Shell even asked people that she worked with to help. Then we started to ask people at nursery if they would like to help, and they did. Then lots of other businesses in Bolton got involved, and I was even invited to go into Bolton FM and do a live interview on the radio. Your dad came with me and he said I did great. So after a full week of appealing, we took all these presents to the hospital. Angela in the charity office was so pleased with what we had brought. I am sure that there will be some very happy children in the hospital on Christmas morning, all in the memory of you my darling Lily xxx
