My Darling Princess Lily - the best memory I will cherish of you will be the day me and Uncle John took you out shopping to Manchester. You really didnt want to come with us did you Princess?? It took a whole packet of wotsits to bring you round before we even got a hint of a smile out of you :-) All day when we were shopping Uncle John would not let me anywhere near your trolley - he took great pride in pushing you round the shops and you were so cute giggling loudly whilst you both chased me round the clothes racks in Next!! I lost count of the amount of people your trolley bumped into!! After shopping, we took you for your first trip to Nandos. Your meal included two corn on the cobs - and you sat with one in each hand, munching away until they were all gone! You loved it, but I will never forget your face when they brought our desserts out and you saw my Cheesecake. You made the loudest 'Mmmmmmmmmmmmm' sound and pointed your finger towards it. No matter how much I tried to convince you to eat your frozen yoghurt dessert, there was no way you were settling for anything other than that Cheesecake, your mind was made up and that was that. To say I was a little miffed was putting it lightly. You ended up demolishing it. I can honestly say now Princess that I will never be able to eat a piece of cheesecake again without thinking of you. And I would give anything in the world for you to be here to steal another piece off me (you are the only person that I will allow to ever do that!!). So my little Cheesecake theif, I hope you are happy up there as a glittery pink angel and that you have a lovely Birthday. We miss you so so much but think of you all the time.
